2024 Alumni Teacher of the Year
Amy Hively has been teaching at Northridge Middle School for more than twenty years. A majority of that time has been spent with 8th grade science students. 夫人. Hively is also a Northridge Middle School track coach and a National Junior Honor Society sponsor. Her favorite lessons in 8th grade science are ones in which students are engaged in labs or hands-on activities. 夫人. Hively grew up in Goshen, Indiana and graduated from Northridge High School in 1997. She graduated from 曼彻斯特 College in 2001 with a B.A. in Chemistry and a degree in Secondary 教育. While at 曼彻斯特, Amy was a member of the track team, the Student 教育 Association, and the American Chemical Society. She lives in Middlebury with her husband, Les, and three children.
